She was instrumental in the formation of the world-class scientific team focused on ALS drug discovery at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Research Medical Discovery Institute, the establishment of the Cedars-Sinai ALS Center of Excellence, driving policy change, and increasing federal funding for ALS research, which shows her commitment to making a difference for patients. As a founding Board of Trustees member of the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Jeannie played a critical role in shaping the direction of the agency, contributing to its world-class reputation and success.
